Thread: cant install firefox: shared libaries error

    cant install firefox: shared libaries error

    i just downloaded firefox from mozilla.org
    and then i did this
    $mkdir firefox
    $cd firefox
    $cp /path/firefox* ./firefox
    $tar -xzvf firefox*.tar.gz
    $cd firefox-installer
    $./firefox-installer
    =============================
    but here was the error i got:
    ./firefox-installer-bin: error while loading shared libraries:
    libstdc++.so.5:
    cannot open shared object file:
    no such file or directory
    ================
    any suggestions ???
