    Cheap Linux conference

    I am willing to go as the rep for F00. I will need a stipend to cover the trip but I can pay the conf. fee and live for free with my daughter.

    Its 1800+ each way, two plus days of driving each way.

    Two nights motel (one each way), 95 gallons of gas and 100 large darkroast cups of coffee = total trip.

    This is just a dream, I would have to take a week off work which I can do but a weeks pay is hard to give up.

    Maybe someone else is free to go? It could be a good conf.

    That suggestion was kinda tongue in cheek but....

    I know it was tongue&cheek - but it was still a good idea.

    Of course, pricing is a wee bit steep.

    If somebody's willing to pay for me to go, I'm well up for it

    (Of course, to get me across the Atlantic would knock a substantial amount on the price. Plus, I don't think I'm available on the 9th. Sigh.)
