Nope. Only the remote boxes that wants to use your wireless router as gateway to the Net connection.

Will the newer wireless pc cards work with my IBM 233mhz Thinkpad laptop? I guess it's a PII...Are there any minimum specs for the system?

Well since posting this, I have seen most require at least a 300mhz system. What are the chances it would work with 233mhz?

If you have slot II type, it should work.
Aside from hardware manufacturers demanding higher CPU speed ( to get the safe side of things ), I can't see what the difference make just to get a NIC working whether wireless or what not. I mean, ::
