I'm so sad... my mp3 player died

Yesterday my beloved bringer of music, easer of bike trips and long journeys gave up.. it simply doesn't turn on anymore, and the batteries doesn't recharge - giving off an abusimal ticking sound when plugged in.

The batteries are very special, I looked them up - it would cost like half of what a new player would cost and I'm not sure that's the problem.. there's an ominus raddling sound from the casing.

There's nothing to do but wait till I'm broke no more.. which will be.. not in the near future.

Why not open it up, maybe some wires came loose. I know someone who's playstation broke like that. It was a quick a 2 minute solder fix. I mean, it's broken anyway.

I will.. but I don't have the tools so I have to run by my parents place..
