    hi

    how can i share files between windows 2000 pro and red hat 9. both the systems r part of a LAN connection.

    Hi

    For cross platform file sharing you need to have SAMBA on linux machine.

    If you want to access Win2K file on linux it can be done using smbmount command in linux.

    And to have reverse that is access linux files from windows u need to configure smb.conf (samba's file) and start samba service.
