X and icewm question -start up programs

    Hello
Just a quick X and icewm question.
Does anyone know how I can have programs automatically start in icewm, after I run the startx command in the console, one to open in one virtual desktop an other in another virtual desktop. What Iím after is firefox to open in one and fxvt an another. I can get them both to open in the same virtual desktop but thatís not what I want.

    you could add it into
    /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.icewm
provided that's how your distro does things.

A better solution would be to add startup programs in ~/.xinitrc. For example:

    Code:
    # Use the pound character to comment unwanted progs/sessions.
    exec Esetroot -s ~/.walls/picture.png&
    exec fbpager -w&
    exec fluxbox
