just making sure that the offtopic posts don't show up on the front page is probably the best idea for this situation.
the offtopic forums are probably the most popular forums here, so getting rid of those would be a really bad idea. but if you can stop them from being shown on the front page, everybody gets what they want right?

I am going to have to agree with Ralinx on this one. I think if we could just not display the General Forum and the LJR Forum then that would be best. You might be able to do it with the SSI.PHP file that comes with YaBBSE.
