This reminds me that I'm missing The Usual Suspects from my collection, I love that movie.
well i decided to pick up some new dvds today...
here's what i bought:
1) American Beauty
Kevin Spacey is just too good in this movie
2) Gangs Of New York
Daniel Day Lewis is just too good in this movie... in fact, he is so good in this movie that he completely makes up for the fact that Leo Di Caprio is in it
3) Snatch
Probably one of my favourite movies of all time... i think it's even better than Pulp Fiction
4) The Usual Suspects
duh...
5) Raging Bull
Bobby De Niro at his best... YOU'RE MOTHER'S AN ANIMAL!
6) Scarface
Pacino at his best![]()

i'm still missing Casino and Goodfellas
My copy of Goodfellas is a flipper. Pah. I've not seen Casino (I know!) but all the others mentioned are damn good. Ralinx: Have you seen Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels?
Have you seen "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels"? It's the film that Guy Richie did just before Snatch, and it's much better.
haven't seen that one yet... i can't imagine it being even better than Snatch![]()

Think exactly the same actors and setting, but better plot and more endearing characters. Comes highly recommended![]()
Snatch and Lock Stock are both brilliant films, but I think that Lock Stock has the edge. It's certainly a safe bet to say that if you like Snatch you'll enjoy it. Look out for the director's cut version. IMO Lock Stock and Snatch are the best British films since Trainspotting.
I'd stay away from The Transporter though.
what did they call brad pitt?
a pikey?
