bike == bicycle. you mean getting a mini-motorbike.
You had me thinking you were talking about a chopper or BMX bike or something. Then I realized you were talking about something with a motor :.
No offense but these 'minibikes' are very annoying, not to mention lame. If I had that sort of money I'd get a secondhand man sized motorbike.

so where can you drive it?
seems like a waste of money to me.
i'd say save another 1000 and get yourself a real bike....one that you could ride on the streets.
Engine power is to fancy for me..
I love my bike, pedal power !!

My mom was talking about how good her gas milage has been (she drives a hybrid) and I commented that mine is even better, 0% fossil fuel, just a banana or two.

Those doctor bastards won't let me drive... I have to ride my bike, or use public transportation, which thankfully is very excellent here.
I would like an environmentally friendly car when they do allow me to drive at some point, baring my medical treatment going the right way, but right now my bike takes me everywhere I want, and faster than a car in most cases (downtown is hard to get around in a car, where as a bike get all the cool short cuts).
Luckily I live in a small town, in worldly standards at least, there are only about a quarter of a million in and around my town.
Bikes suck when it's raining though, or snowing..
