    Project Looking Glass Anyone?

    https://lg3d-core.dev.java.net/lg3dgettingstarted.html

I think I might try it when I get home tonight. Has anybody attempted to get it working yet?

I am willing to give it a try, but I highly doubt that this will be anything more than a proof of concept on several fronts.

I agree. I just think it will be a cool thing to mess around with for a little while.
I don't know if I am ready to work in a 3d computing environment yet.

As I expected, it's a resource hog. Look at the Platform Requirements.

Looking Glass is a pussy project. If you want something really amazing, check out OpenCroquet.

According to their FAQ an alpha version should have been released today. I did not see and download link. At this point it seems more just a concept, rather than a product.
