Remote Installation Server (RIS) ???

Has anyone used linux as a remote installation server?

Microsoft has RIS to deploy windows over the network. Does anyone make something for linux that does the same thing?

Ender was talking about this yesterday. His company has some customizations for this. they use Kickstart, and a pxe boot server.

I want to deploy a Windows 2000 image from a linux box over a network.

Partition image is for cloning pc's. RIS is for deploying brand new installations.
