Perhaps a series with a representative of each major linux distro?
Including roadmaps, comparisons, personal opinions, major obstacles tot heir software, etc.

the idea itself is cool and it sure would be nice. but when it comes to the big distro's, i doubt they would take the time to answer our questions because this site is virtually unkown. Most of them have roadmaps on their site. Comparisons will always be biased. Obviously that goes for personal opinions as well.... and what distro representative is gonna mention obstacles to their software?
i think we have a better shot at getting some developers from large open source projects to answer a few questions.

I agree. I don't think you will get any official response from any commercial distros unless you are from Linuxjournal or Linux magazine or some sorts.
Developers response from major OSS projects would work well too.
I would also think personal opinion about distro comparison is also good ( always good to read even if you don't agree with it ) as long as your facts are fairly pointed.
