    to access mac with linux

    Hi,

I wonder how one can access a mac with a linux box? Both the mac and the linux box have appltalk installed (afpovertcp), but I only found that appletalk allows mac to access unix, but not the other way around....?

You might want to start here:

Most importantly your kernel has to be compiled with Appletalk enabled, then install and configure the netatalk package.

netatalk is currently only server. Is this Mac X? I'd recommend using windows file sharing, both mac and linux can act as either server or client for that. Read about samba (www.samba.org) Mac X comes with it by default.
