    Sitrep on WiFi and linux

I am probably going to be forced to use wifi at home to access the net. I am not seeing a favorable picture with regards to my offerings that work both on linux and well.

    Am I wrong?

It seem the linksys wmp54g(s) works for some but needs a proprietary driver to work. The $20 linuxant -- to load the crap Win32 one.

Netgear. Well used to. New rev 2 doesnt show any google hits that have any users with favorable success stories.

DLink -- well kinda rough to find anything. Model number only shows up people selling it. Very little real tech info.

USR -- the ONLY support is thru linuxant.

    What have I missed?

I use a Microsoft MN720 with the LinuxAnt drivers, and it works great.
