Maybe we can turn this whole thing around and instead of coming out of with a split community we can get some more linux junior channel action, if more moderators start hanging out there more users might come to.

Well, I think that we can try to make this satisfactory for everyone.

Even if we decide to change to another server, it does not have to be the ones already made. That would take care of the fear of abuse of power...

the question is, does anybody have another server? irc.othersideirc.net is a possibility, but im not sure.
