i should open a pc building business wonder how hard itll be
I've often thought of doing the same, and offering tech support, but there are already people doing it here, and (aside from Linux experience) I don't know that I have any advantages over them

It seems like guaranteed profit if you get the money first.

Re:10dedfish's New Box
id love to have my own computer business like that, build REAL pcs with brand name parts for cheaper, faster, and better quality parts. problem is getting the parts for wholesale to make enough of a profit and keep the price of the pc low. plus i dont think id be able to handle tech support and anyone wanting their money back. im not capable of running a business successfully.

Re:10dedfish's New Box
I think I'll run a hosting/pc repair/pc building/tech support/ business.
In five years.

The Man might try to take some money from ya, but you can always send it through the Cayman Islands.

Nice! Right now I'm toiling away on a Cyrix MII-333pr. Not nice. Not funny.

I was on a Gateway 333 for years until I finally upgraded 2 PCs to a 1.7 and 2.4. Then I broke down and got a 2.4 laptop...didnt bother me so much cause I was running Linux. But when I moved over to the faster PCs, it was I was washing my car with my foot on the hose and just said "hey, my foot was on the hose"
Nirvana indeed
