    MacOSX emulation on x86?

    Re:MacOSX emulation on x86?

Been running it the past week or so. Good stuff. Runs 10.2 fairly well. Make sure to make it work in Linux. Windows has a lack of functionality. Not to mention it's a bit easier. Have yet to try any OS9/Linux stuff on it.

oh if only Apple would make OS X available for x86... i seriously think that would hurt Microsoft's market share

there are a lot of rumours that Apple has always had an x86 version of OS X available, but that they never released it out of fear that nobody would buy their hardware anymore

Do you also recall MS invested over $ 600 Millions in Apple back in 2000?

[/quote]Are you talking about Darwin? Darwin is the foundation of OS X without the Aqua GUI and has been available to the x86 world since the release of OS X several years ago, although you pretty much have to have a pure Intel system to run it.

no i'm not talking about Darwin... i'm talking about OS X. You know, _with_ Acqua

running Darwin without Acqua sounds about as useless to me as dating a girl who wants to stay celibate for the rest of her life
