Issue with Nagios Plugins..any Nagios expert wishing to share emails...

/usr/local/libexec subdirectory is empty....I guess this means I have no plugins installed....would they be somewhere else by chance....i tried to find some , but could not....so I went looking for check_snmp and ended up here at this site....

CVS log for nagiosplug/nagiosplug/plugins/check_snmp.c
1) The latest Revision 1.38 - (download) was here and when I clicked download.... a texted window opened.. for "check_snmp"; .....how do I download it or do we have to do a copy and paste or install...

2) Someone told me i need mibs,is it true or are they already included in the check_snmp.c file.....how are these installed.which subdirectory..(unzipped or untared..etc)..help

I've never heard of Nagios before...

The plugins were installed in : /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/ ...
found them....still trying to figure out how to install the mibs....
