    WEll, I just think that compiling every application like XFree86, GNOME, etc. will take quite sometime on my machine..that's all. But your comment has encouraged me to try but right now I am getting accustomed to Fedora Core 1 so.. yeah..

    Give Sourcemage a try! This is my favorite one but not currently using it.

    I'm gonna try LFS, I'm imaging my computer tonight, so I can write over it. I dunno when I'll try it though...

    i did it on a PIII 450 about 8 times or so... it's doable in a few days time

    the key is to write some scripts and let it compile big things (like QT + KDE) while you're out getting high, drunk, laid, whatever
