    wall mounted, vertical projectors?

    Hi,

Has anyone seen a type of projector that mounts onto the same wall as the projected image? It hangs virtically on the wall. I thought I had seen one of these in a magazine but, I googled and didn't find it.

I haven't, it sounds kinda hard to do, getting a decent sized image requires a fairly large mounting mechanism, no?

It would need some really funky lenses. I don't think you could get a big picture with the projector right against the wall.

If I remember correctly, big screen T.V.'s use this method. Though I haven't heard of any such projector, aside from televisions.

Big screen TV's use a huge mirror. The images is projected to the back unit, where there is a mirror on an angle. The mirror then reflects it up to the screen.
