Oh and one more that I can't believe I forgot to mention. UFO: Alien Invasion is a really unique strategy game based off of the old X-COM series. Basically you control a squad of human defenders who have to secure various locations that have been taken ovver by aliens. Its hard to explain, but very very fun to play. http://ufo.myexp.de/

    {EDIT} Damn, I really can't spell
Thanks for the link Zen, that is a really fun game! I played it for a couple hours last night, good fun.

make sure you have the nvidia kernel module set to autoload.
I know I didn't do that! Damn details.

Gracias! ZennouRyuu, My whole system is in need of exorcism at the moment.
Someone has placed a curse on my box. Lots of voodoo here in Louisiana.
I have to get some functionality, before the gaming begins.

I need two computers, one to use while I work on the one I broke.
Any of you guys make house-calls?

i have a vpr matrix laptop that blows, and best buy is supposed to fix it for free (hw problems, i'll fix the sw myself ;o)

those people are completely incompetent about _everything_, one of them tried to tell me the reason that the fan keeps stopping from working is because i use linux and it "screws the hardware up".
