i remember mandrake in the 7.x days... back then the mandrake releases were truelly excellent.
IMHO, mandrake has been seriously going downhill ever since 8.0
Ditto. The last few reseases have underwhelmed a few of the Mandrake users that I know.

mandrake 7.2 was perhaps one of the best distro's ive ever used... ever since 8.0 it seemed as if the focus of the company was more on making it look shiny and special and cool and whatnot instead of making sure it actually worked without a shitload of bugs and updates
see .sig
did anyone get a chance to use it yet?
I used to use mandrake 9.0 and i really liked it, then i switched to redhat 9 when that came out but i've always liked mandrake better.
Different strokes for different folks, i guess....
I like the Mandrake 10, it is much easier to use and set up.
Works for me. :P
whats the deal with 10.0 being 85 dollars and you cant even download it for free.
Are the days of linux being a free download over?
