    Installed RPM what next??

Where can i see which RPM's i have installed. I have just installed IceWM RPM's (3 of them) and a Fluxbox RPM.

Basically i am saying how do i use ICEWM and FLUXBOX.

Very sorry to ask what must be such stupid questions (Newbie)

in your ~./xinitrc add this at the end:

    Code:
    #Start the Window Manager

    /usr/local/bin/icewm-session
That shoule be good enough. Make sure you put the correct path though. I compiled IceWM and that is where icewm-session exists but for an installed binary, I have no idea. Might do a locate icewm-session after running updatedb.

If you don't have a ~./xinitrc, well..it depends on which distro you are using. If you have RH9 or Fedora, I think it uses something called:

~./X-resources or ~./X-resources-default something like that and then edit it.

Thanks! I didn't know what it was. I guessed it was X-resources.

Thanx guys everything works. Was just using Icewm and Fluxbox. Its pretty cool to use soething ese other than KDE and Gnome, even if it is just to see what they look like and act. Thanx again for the help.

    Glad it worked.

Try using Blackbox. Fluxbox originates from Blackbox but it is much better.
