    Re:Memory errors with XP Pro

The first one didn't work. This is what it says.

Custom size: I set the Intial size (MB) for 700 and i set the maximum size (MB) for 700 and that didn't work. I don't remember what it was before that.

Your second solution i don't understand none of it. May you explain it to me over again?? Thanks.

    Ok.

    1) Minimum and Maximum cannot be the same. I am guessing you have 512 MB RAM. Set the minimum to 512 and the maximum to 1024. Then see if it works.

    2) Ok Follow all the steps until where I tell you to click on the third option.

    The third option should be:
    Virtual Memory:
    A paging file....etc.

Then click Change and then it should be automatically set to System Managed Size . Change the option to custom and change the SWAP (Virtual Memory) to whatever you want.
Do NOT do this: Instead of the third option, click on the 2nd option. Where it should say change the memory usage of programs, etc. Then change the settings of the programs you use. I will also try this and get back to you if possible.

    Hope this helps.

Have you tried a virus scan?

How much free disk space do you have?
