I have just deleted all partitions on my main drive. At the mement im reinstalling redhat 9, this time with LILO.
I dont know whether or not im going to bother putting XP back on the machine. I may just stick with just linux.

If you have a grub boot disk, or if you make one, you should be able to re-install grub to the MBR without touching your OS's, assuming you still have all the grub stuff on your linux partition(s). Or, alternatively, you should be able to boot from a grub boot disk and then re-install grub once you are booted.
