Couldn't the user just be required to enter their mysql password?
Hi List,
I have some problem hope you can help me. Iam trying to configure phpMyAdmin to authenticate users.
My Apache web server address is 203.x.x.62 (ns2.domain.com)
but as you can see below whenever I opened the site ns2.domain.com a different ip has been logged. How come?
This ip 203.x.x.60 is my gateway server but not running apache.

I can however, open phpMyAdmin without authentication but this wasn't my requirement. User needs to authenticate before using phpMyAdmin.
Thanks and more power.

Well, you have a point. Just making things a little harder for a possible hack :![]()
