has anyone been getting hit with this today? my inbox at work was flooded with it and i have 10 here at home. of couse they make my home computer come to a crawl...

Someone sent out an email to me about that yesterday, apologizing about sending out email viruses. I responded, "as if I have to worry about email virus on a Linux box, muhahahhahaha!!!"

Sophos is a beautiful thing. Ever since I installed Sophos on my companies mail server it has cut my frustration with the users 10 fold.
As long as I keep the definitions up to date we haven't had any virus emails get through our servers.

No, don't supply my addy to spammer, that would be downright evil.

I always thought that would an extremely cruel way to get back at somebody that you were pissed off at.
Putting their email address on spam and porn lists, that would be horrible.

Actually it happened before. Somebody posted the name, address, phone #, email address of a spammer on /. People signed up the guy for every spam list, free catalog offer, home based buisness offer, etc., choking his mailbox, telephone, email. The guy wanted to file a law suit, but had no grounds to stand on. He had to taste his own medicine. I wish this could be done to all spammers.
