    Dual-head on Radeon 9800...

Does anyone know how to configure X to run Dual head on a Radeon 9800 (R350 chip)? Also would like to know if anyone has a list of the modes that are supported by the DesktopSetup option.

    heres my current config:

    # By default, Red Hat 6.0 and later now use a font server independent of

    Re:Dual-head on Radeon 9800...

Have you tried using Option "Xinerama", from memory it stetches the screen across the 2 monitors. I also think you need to say the second screen is "RightOf" or something along those lines...
I've done this before so I'll see if I can find out how I did it.

    Re:Dual-head on Radeon 9800...

Damn, just read through your config file and see you already have screen 1 rightof screen0. I have no idea now sorry.
The only thing I really can suggest is using Option "xinerama" "on"
That will stretch it across 2 desktops, but it isn't really what you want
    Cheers
