    Dial-Up with Mandrake 9.2

    Hi! Thanks for answering in the previous topic, it helped me out. Now I have Mandrake 9.2 and I would like to connect to the internet using Dial-Up. I have no idea how to do it, any idea how?

    Actually, I figured I have a Lucent WinModem and I need to configure it be compatible with Mandrake 9.2. SO can someone please help me with where to download it? Thanks!

    I looked there but I cannot understand anything :'( and I've been trying to install this for the past few hours... I tried google, linmodems.org, winmodems are not modems,... I don't understand anything. SO I'd appreciate a step by step instruction sheet if possible thanks.

    Open a command window and type the following command:

    lspci -vv

    That will give you some hardware information. Post the result so we can see what specific modem you have.
