Very cool. Could be great for non-tech savvy users.
Linux software seller Lindows.com announced it plans to distribute its LindowsLive operating system for free via peer-to-peer networks.

I view livecd's as advertising. Let someone test drive your distribution and if they like it, they maybe will buy it. The only exception would be something like knoppix, where using it as a rescue disc works great -- but I can't imagine this applying to LindowsLive.
So, to me.. this is like getting excited over the free AOL discs you get in the mail. Well, at least you don't need to dispose of coasters with LindowsLive (though, I do like some of the AOL cases.)
