How do i install a floppy drive??

Hi everyone, Some how when i went to unplug something i unplugged the wrong one and now my floppy drive is uninstalled and i don't know the name of my drive. I checked the BIOS under Boot Order and there was no floppy drive listed there when there should be because i go to the BIOS alot and there was always a floppy drive listed under Boot Order. I don't know how or what to install. Do i go to Add New Hardware for the floppy?? Thanx guys.

Have you tried plugging the cables back in?

yeah i have. Is the floppy drive plug different colors with a white end that is labeled p7?? If that is it i unplugged it and plugged back it.

It's possible you put the cable back in upside-down.

Ok let me check that. Or i could of put it in the wrong hole.

I got it. My big cable was loose and i believe that would be the IDE cable.

Floppies don't use IDE cables...
