1 mount point on 2 different drives?

Is it possible to have one mount point span 2 drives.

i have a 20gig and a 40 gig drive. I want to have one mount point be the biggest it could be. Which is just about 54gig.

Is there something i could do it make it look like it's one big drive?

You could use RAID0, but then it would only show as a 40GB partition since they do not match.

I think a RAID would make it look like the smallest drive. However, you can mount the 40 gig drive to /mymountpoint, and the 20 gig to /mymountpoint/afolderinsidemymountpoint.

    LVM does this.
