You're going to have to make the picture very small. What picture manipulation programs do you have?
Hi everyone. I tried to upload a picture to here. It's my YIM picture so i saved it to my hard disk. I edit my profile. I went upload and i browse where i had saved my picture at and this is the message that i get as followed.
The size of a uploaded image is 360 X 270 pixels. The maximum allowed size is 60 X 60 pixels.
How can i take that 360 X 270 size and make it 60 X 60 size?? My pic now is a jpeg. Can anyone help me with this?? Thanx guys..

I have Adobe Phtoshop 8.0. Do u run Windows XP pro?? Or llinux?? Can u help me in XP?? Another question. The pictures that comes on LJR. Will my pic be the same size as the pic on LJR or will my pic be smaller then the one on LJR?? Can photoshop get the job done?? I hope so. Thanx..
To begin, your picture needs to have the same dimensions on both sides.
360 X 270 is not the same on both sides, so you need to crop it.
Have you Googled for any Photoshop tutorials?
Please try to do some research before asking for help.
Thanks.

trickster, I looked at that site that u gave me. I cropped and then try to upload it and it's still not right.
Derek,
Since I can't see what is on your computer, it is imperative that you post any errors you receive, if you are seeking help.
Thanks

Ok this is what i did. I fired up Photoshop 8.0. I opened up the jpeg where i have it saved. On the toolbarr the left hand side. I clicked on the third one down and then clicked on the corner of my pic and clicked where i want it cropped too and then i double clicked inside my pic. File save as gave it a name like derek1.jpg in the location where i want it and went to LJR and then went to my profile Upload pic and it's not the right size in pixels. I don't know why. Could u help me after i told u what i did??
Sure. You need to resize it to 60 by 60 pixels.

As I said earlier, please do a little research before asking for help.
I went to Google and typed "resize picture photoshop" and got hundreds of results.
